Terms of Service
These Terms set out the rights, obligations and responsibilities between AI Taekwondo Co., Ltd. (“the Company”) and members who use the easy tedu service.
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms govern the conditions and procedures for using the easy tedu service provided by the Company (including the website, the Control Panel app and the dojang screen app; the “Service”), and the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the Company and its members.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- Member: a dojang operator (master, instructor, etc.) who has agreed to these Terms, signed up and received an account.
- Dojang: a Taekwondo school space a member creates in the Service, to which screens, playlists and videos belong.
- Dojang screen: a TV, tablet, PC or other display device a member registers to their dojang.
- Standard content: poomsae videos, captions, guide screens and other content the Company provides in the Service.
- Member videos: videos a member uploads to, or links into, the Service.
Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of the Terms)
The Company posts these Terms where they can be viewed at any time from the Service’s first screen and the sign-up screen. The Company may amend these Terms within the limits of applicable law. When it does, it will announce the effective date and the reason for the change at least 7 days in advance, or at least 30 days in advance, with separate notice by registered email or similar means, if the change is unfavorable to members.
A member who does not agree to the amended Terms may stop using the Service and delete their account. Where the Company has clearly stated, when giving notice of an unfavorable change, that not objecting by the effective date will be treated as consent, a member who does not object is deemed to have agreed.
Article 4 (Formation of the Service Agreement)
The service agreement is formed when an applicant reviews these Terms and the Privacy Policy, applies to sign up, and the Company accepts the application. The Company may review sign-up applications before opening access, for the operation of the Service.
The Company may refuse an application, or terminate the agreement if it later becomes aware, where:
- the applicant used another person’s name, phone number or email, or gave false information;
- the applicant is under 14 years of age;
- the applicant was previously restricted for violating these Terms and is applying again; or
- the application clearly aims to violate the law or seriously disrupt the Service.
Article 5 (Account Management)
- Members must manage their own account email and password and must not lend or transfer their account to anyone.
- When others at the dojang (such as instructors) need access, do not share the account; grant them their own access through the means the Service provides (such as adding a sub-admin).
- If an account is, or may have been, used without permission, the member must change the password immediately and notify the Company.
- The Company is not responsible for losses arising from a member’s failure to follow this Article, except where the Company is at fault.
Article 6 (The Service)
The Company provides members with:
- dojang screen registration and remote control from a phone or tablet (play, pause, speed, section repeat, etc.);
- browsing and playing standard content, and building playlists;
- uploading, linking and playing member videos;
- camera features between dojang screens and phones, such as live view and camera casting; and
- other features the Company develops or provides through partners, such as per-screen class history.
The Service runs on members’ own devices and internet connections. Some features may be limited or unavailable on some devices, such as older TVs or browsers; the Company will try to state device support in its installation and registration guides.
Article 7 (Changes to and Suspension of the Service)
- The Company may change features or screens to improve the Service and will give advance notice of changes that materially affect members.
- The Company may temporarily suspend the Service for unavoidable reasons such as maintenance or replacement of equipment, outages, loss of communications or natural disasters. It will give notice in advance where possible, and otherwise without delay after the suspension.
- If the Company ends the Service entirely, it will give notice at least 30 days before the end date.
Article 8 (Fees)
- Service fees and payment methods are set by the Company in its service information or in a separate agreement with the member. Free services and free-use periods (such as seminar codes) are shown on the relevant screens.
- If the Company makes a free service paid or raises fees, it will give notice at least 30 days in advance, and will not charge any fee the member has not agreed to.
- Cancellation and refunds of paid services follow applicable law and the member’s agreement with the Company.
Article 9 (Members’ Obligations)
While using the Service, members must:
- comply with applicable law, these Terms and the usage guidance in the Service;
- when showing trainees or other people through the camera features, take responsibility for meeting their legal obligations, such as informing those people (or the legal guardians of minors) and obtaining any required consent. The Company does not record or store camera video or audio; video and audio travel between devices (Privacy Policy, Article 2); and
- upload or link only videos they have the right to use, without infringing others’ copyright, portrait rights or other rights.
Article 10 (Rights in Content)
- Rights in standard content and in the Service’s screens, design and software belong to the Company or to the rights holders who have licensed them to the Company. Members may use them only within the Service, for their own dojang’s classes and their trainees’ training.
- Rights in member videos belong to the member or the original rights holder. The Company uses member videos only to store them so they can be played at that member’s dojang and to convert them for devices (lower bitrate copies and streaming formats). It does not use them for any other purpose or show them to anyone else.
- When a member links an external video, such as a YouTube video, that service’s terms also apply to its use.
Article 11 (Prohibited Conduct)
Members must not:
- download, record or copy standard content to use it outside the Service, or distribute or sell it to others;
- use another member’s account or try to access dojangs or screens they are not authorized to use;
- circumvent the Service’s protections, attempt to obtain its source code, or send abnormal volumes of requests;
- upload or play obscene material, videos that defame others or infringe their rights, or illegally filmed material; or
- otherwise violate the law or interfere with the operation of the Service.
Article 12 (Restrictions on Use)
If a member violates these Terms, the Company may, depending on the severity, issue a warning, restrict some features, suspend use or terminate the service agreement. Before restricting use, the Company will state the reason and period and give the member an opportunity to respond. Where urgent action is needed because others’ rights are being seriously infringed or the Service is at risk of serious harm, the Company may restrict use first and notify the member without delay.
Article 13 (Account Deletion and Termination)
- Members may delete their account at any time from the Settings screen in the Service.
- When a dojang operator (master) deletes their account, that dojang and its screens, playlists and member videos are deleted with it, and the dojang’s sub-admins can no longer use it. Deleted information is destroyed without delay in accordance with the Privacy Policy and cannot be restored.
- When a sub-admin (such as an instructor) deletes their account, only that account is deleted; the dojang and its data remain.
Article 14 (Limitation of Liability)
- The Company is not liable for failing to provide the Service due to causes beyond its control, such as natural disasters, war, power failures or carrier outages.
- The Company is not liable for service problems caused by a member’s devices, internet environment or fault.
- Members are responsible for the content of the member videos and external videos they upload or link.
- The provisions above do not apply to losses caused by the Company’s intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
Article 15 (Notices)
The Company gives notice to members by posting in the Service or by the email address or phone number the member registered. Notices to all members may be given by posting in the Service for at least 7 days instead of individual notice, except for matters that significantly affect members, which are notified individually.
Article 16 (Governing Law and Disputes)
These Terms and the use of the Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. The Company and members will first try in good faith to resolve any dispute through discussion; if a lawsuit is filed, it will be resolved by the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act. This also applies to members using the Service outside Korea.
