Privacy Policy
AI Taekwondo Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) provides the easy tedu service (the website and the dojang screen apps, the “Service”) and treats your personal information with care. This policy explains what information we process and why, how long we keep it, and what rights you have.
1. Why we process personal information
We process personal information only for the purposes below. If a purpose changes, we will tell you in advance and ask for your consent.
- Signing up and verifying who you are, managing your account, and managing dojang membership and permissions
- Registering dojang screens (TVs, tablets), controlling them remotely, and playing class videos
- Receiving and answering inquiries and consultation requests
- Keeping the Service stable — preventing misuse, finding the cause of failures, and improving performance
- Providing class history (so a dojang can see its own class times)
2. What we collect
The users of the Service are dojang operators (masters and instructors). We do not register individual trainees or collect trainees’ personal information.
A. Information you enter
| Category | Items | When |
|---|---|---|
| Account | Email, name, mobile number, password (stored encrypted) | Sign-up |
| Dojang & screens | Dojang name, screen (device) names | Creating a dojang, registering a screen |
| Inquiries | Dojang name, name, contact number, email (optional), region, number of screens and interests (optional), message | When you request a consultation |
| Class materials | Videos your dojang uploads and their details (such as titles) | When you upload a video |
B. Information created automatically while you use the Service
| Category | Items |
|---|---|
| Access logs | Date and time, requested path and result, processing time, browser and device information (User-Agent), IP address in encrypted form |
| Screen (device) information | Device type and browser information, last connection time, push notification token |
| Performance logs | Time for a screen to load, network quality, OS and browser type, screen (device) identifier and name; when an error occurs, the error details and browser information (User-Agent) |
| Class history | Start and end time of classes and playback time, per screen |
C. Camera and microphone
We access the camera and microphone only when you use ‘Live view’ or ‘Share My Camera’. If you don’t use these features, we don’t access them.
- Video and audio travel directly between devices. When a direct connection isn’t possible because of the network, they pass through a relay server operated by the Company.
- In no case does the Company record or store video or audio. We keep only figures used to check connection quality (resolution, frames per second, latency, etc.), and these contain no video or audio.
- To find a connection path between devices, a public STUN server operated by Google may be used as a backup, and your IP address may be sent to that server.
3. How long we keep it
| Category | Retention |
|---|---|
| Account, dojang and screen information, class materials | Until you delete your account (then destroyed without delay) |
| Access logs | 90 days from collection |
| Performance logs | 30 days from collection (after that, kept only as statistics that cannot identify anyone) |
| Class history | Until you delete your account |
| Inquiry records | 1 year from receipt |
Where another law requires us to keep information, we follow that period. If you use a paid service, under Korea’s Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce we keep contract and withdrawal records for 5 years, payment records for 5 years, and consumer complaint and dispute records for 3 years.
4. Sharing with third parties
We do not provide your personal information to third parties, except when you have agreed in advance, or when an investigative agency or other authority requests it through a lawful procedure.
5. Service providers and international transfers
We entrust the tasks below to outside providers to run the Service. All of them are located outside Korea.
| Recipient | Country | Task | Items transferred | When and how | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Google LLC (Firebase Cloud Messaging) | USA | Sending push notifications to launch dojang screens remotely | Device push token | Sent over the network when a notification is sent | Until the service contract ends |
| Brevo (Sendinblue SAS) | France | Sending emails such as sign-up verification and password reset | Email address, name | Sent over the network when an email is sent | Until the service contract ends |
| Microsoft Corporation (Clarity) | USA | Analyzing how the website is used (to improve screens) | Cookies and usage records, browser information | Sent automatically while you use the website | Until the service contract ends |
You may refuse these international transfers. However, push notifications and emails are essential to the Service, so if you refuse, you won’t be able to use some features such as signing up and remote launch. Please tell us through the contact in Section 8.
6. Destruction
When the retention period ends or the purpose is fulfilled, we destroy the information without delay. Electronic files are deleted in a way that cannot be recovered, and any printouts are shredded or incinerated. Access and performance logs are deleted automatically after the periods in Section 3.
7. Your rights and how to use them
You may at any time:
- View your personal information or ask for a copy
- Ask us to correct wrong information
- Ask us to delete it (except where a law requires us to keep it)
- Ask us to stop processing it
